bibliophile

noun
1. a person who loves or collects books, especially as examples of fine or unusual printing, binding, or the like.

nothing compares to a cup of coffee, a warm blanket, a rainy day, and a large old book ready to be started when you are spending the day alone.

books let us live the lives we may never have or are not possible to have. wizard, dragon rider, vampire, marrying mr. darcy. endless possibilities to bring us to a place of peace or excitement. to be that friend we need when you just need a break from reality. to make you laugh or cry or get angry or excited. nothing compares to the moment you fall in love with your first literary character. what one book means to me may mean something different to another. the only sure thing is an experience that will pull you in and consume you if you’ve found your bookmate. the nights spent not able to put it down until you have read every single page, and then slow feeling of regret that you finished it so soon. becoming one with the story so that when the character suffers a loss or feels the happiness of a win, you feel it with them…

find your bookmate, love it, learn and grow with it, take it with you for the rest of your life.

forever a book lover.
